What is the deal?

I am curious as to why people who claim to know someone suddenly decide that person can do something completely out of character and be someone they aren't? Does that make any sense? How can someone claim to be someones friend...know their personality...know what their belief system and moral values are...and claim to care about them...and turn on them at the drop of a hat. How can you let the media make your case for you? How can you allow your own knowledge be challenged by people who couldn't care less about your or anyone they are reporting about?

I hope I follow through with my heart. I hope I treat people the way I want to be treated. I hope I show my friends and family the love and respect and loyalty they deserve...don't get me wrong, if someone does something wrong, I believe in the truth...the truth is what I believe in...not some bogus media crap...I'm a little disenchanted with my own little world...*sigh*

Ok, that's two posts about the media now and I'm dying of curiosity. What media story are you talking about??? Inquiring minds want to know? :)

I've wondered a lot of the same stuff. Especially as Christians who are we to judge someone else. Every one makes mistakes, and we all know the media likes to sensationalize stuff! I think if someone is going to turn their back on you at the drop of a hat, then they weren't a true friend. And why waste your love and energy on them. But then again the Bible says love your enemy. So my flesh says forget them, but my spiritual self says pray for them. Why does it have to be so hard to be a Christian?

The end result is well worth the sacrifice now! I'll pray for these people you are struggling with and of course you my wonderful long distance friend.

On another note, I'm still trying to compile my list of 7 weird things about me. There's a lot, but which ones do I really want to admit? Talk to you soon.

Amen sister! How can those that say they love the Lord turn on those around them? I love this family and all of those around the issue! YOU ARE ALL IN MY PRAYERS!
